El enorme poder de la IA Generativa para transformar la organización

Demonstrate an example of a real-life use case where a Dataverse for Teams app and a Power BI report helped a group in a big organization to manage a 80k+ rows of data in a flat MS Excel file. They helped them to understand its structure, meaning, business impact, to reclassify or eliminate errors and approach a project target date successfully.
This small and successful project used:
- Power BI
- Dataverse for Teams
- Dataflows
- Power Platform Canvas Apps
- Power Automate.

This group works in the Maintenance department, they have no computer skills and often still work with manual documents. They also didn't have a budget assigned for IT support in this project.

They started a project where they had to review all the expenses they generate, but they were provided with a 80k+ rows excel file. Nobody understood anything. When I arrived in the project I created a Power BI report and in that moment they realized where the money went, to what suppliers, in which locations, in what expense groups. They could filter and drill through into details.

Then they realized that there were several expenses with the wrong classification or category and they had to reclassify them. I built a D4T app, which implied no additional license costs, to allow them to pick a Purchase Order number from the Power BI report, copy it and paste it into the app to display all its details and reclassify it into three different levels instantly. 

Then used a Direct Query connection to build a second Power BI report to show in almost real time the same data reclassified. They had a deadline to comply and this small automation, in my opinion, came to save their project and they complied with the due date on time. They were all working at the same time in the app and were really happy with the support they received. 

It is just a success story and a great use of Dataverse for Teams, of which I was not a fan, I pretty much disliked it for its limitations and thought it was just for POC, but based on the volume of data for this specific project and the business case, it came just perfect.
