Organizations today are vastly unprepared for the threat of modern artificial intelligence tools being utilized by cyber-criminals against their IT infrastructure. Modern attackers are highly organized, well-resourced, and skilled in the use of the latest commercially released artificial intelligence tools to be able to give them an edge with criminal activity. The reality is that it has unfortunately become a lucrative business to hack, disrupt, and steal intellectual property from organizations of all sizes and in all business sectors.

Automating Deployment and LifeCycle Management of Power Platform Solutions

The Power Platform provides a suite of low-code/no-code tools for building custom solutions that help organizations automate their business processes. However, Power Platform was not really built with deployment and lifecycle management in mind, and deploying Power Platform solutions from development to test and production environments can be a nerves-consuming and time-consuming process.

That's where different other platforms come into the play, such as Azure DevOps. With Azure DevOps, we can automate the deployment of Power Platform solutions and individual artifacts, such as Apps, Flows and Dataverse tables. 

In this session, Adis will briefly introduce you to the key features of Azure DevOps, such as builds, releases, and pipelines, but we will not go deeply into Azure DevOps concepts and features; instead: we will focus on their practical use for Power Platform deployments. We will also explore how to manage environment variables and configuration data, and how to handle deployment errors and rollbacks.

Azure Networking is fundamental in Azure IaaS and the first step in moving or extending your DataCenter to cloud. This session covers all aspects of Azure Networking, from IP addresses, VNets, to P2S, S2S and ExpressRoute connections. We discuss how IP addresses are assigned, how to reserve IP addresses, the difference between IP address types, create VNet/subnet, assign new VM to your VNet/subnet, connect your local network to VNet, connection between different VNets, connect VNet on different subscriptions, and more.

With the explosive growth of Teams during the pandemic, a lot of organisations have struggled to understand how the various compliance scenarios can be applied to data in Teams. With so many moving parts, how do you ensure that you're retaining the right information but deleting what you don’t need?

In this session we'll look at:

Options for controlling Teams provisioning, from the free for all to the heavily governed.
How components like Retention Labels and Policies are applied to the various architectural objects that form the Teams platform, with a view to understanding how retention actually works and what actually gets removed.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is here, and it is here to stay. Already, we can see AI everywhere around us. Recommendations on Netflix and Amazon, digital assistants on websites and on your mobile phone, and boarding airplanes with face recognition instead of boarding passes. Just a few examples of what I have personally seen. However, AI also poses ethical risks, such as bias, discrimination, privacy violations, or harm to human dignity and rights. Or what about deep fakes, voice cloning, fake images, etc. We have all seen those examples. Therefore, it is crucial that everyone who develops, deploys, or uses AI acts with responsibility and accountability, ensuring that AI is aligned with human values and principles.

In this session, I will discuss why everyone has a responsibility to drive AI by ethical principles, what are some of the key ethical principles and frameworks for AI, and how Microsoft is helping customers and partners to implement responsible AI practices across the AI lifecycle. I will also share some examples and best practices of how Microsoft is embedding ethics into its own AI products and services. Finally, this session will demonstrate many examples of AI gone “wrong”, because we need to laugh and learn too.
