            </h2><p>Liz has been working with Dynamics &amp; the Microsoft stack over the past 12 years and has held roles in training, sales, delivery &amp; management for multiple Microsoft Partners. She has an MBA and a BS in Human Resource Development and has been passionate about training and development since graduating college. Since Liz became an independent consultant three years ago, she’s had more time to reflect and follow her passions, which has led to this point of starting a non-profit. She sees the demand for upskilling individuals in the Microsoft Tech industry. She knows that there are few formal avenues to enter the industry. Her goal is to bring career opportunities to communities that wouldn’t typically have access to them.</p><h2>Finding Balance</h2><p>According to a 2021 Gallup poll only 36% of the American workforce is engaged. We’ll explore the idea of being more focused and present in work and other areas of your life. Liz will cover tools and resources to help you in your ongoing engagement journey. When storing important data in cloud services like Microsoft 365, it’s important to understand the retention policies  and potential threats and hazards that can lead to permanent loss of data stored in the cloud.
 
This session will focus on the retention policies of popular cloud-based services like Microsoft 365 and building a disaster recovery plan to reduce the risk of unrecoverable and unexpected data loss. We will examine several case studies and share best practices for backing up cloud data and recovering from malicious attacks targeting cloud services.
 


Managing cloud data: Understanding threats and implementing a recovery strategy

We all learned to use Microsoft Teams for our daily meetings with colleagues, customers and partners. Yes, we can talk to each other, we can stay in contact and many things are working in this remote scenario which seemed to be impossible. But it's still not the same. Mixed reality can help with the emotional part which is missing in Teams meetings where you watch your screen the whole day. Microsoft Mesh offers a new level of remote meetings and we will cover the different options. We will talk about the following questions:
 - What is Microsoft Mesh for Teams about?
 - How can I start my first immersive meeting?
 - Do I need a headset to attend such a meeting?
 - What can we do to establish Mesh for Teams in my company?

Let's go to the next level of collaboration with Mesh for Teams!

This session will give an overview of different areas of Microsoft's Power Platform, with a focus on how they can be extended with .Net. 

For instance:
* We'll look at how Power Automate as a strong automation engine, then extending it further by using C# running on Power Automate, and integrating with Azure Functions.
* Dataverse is the primary data store for Power Platform, and C# plugins (analogous to database triggers) allow you perform event driven automation. 
* Configure Dataverse to send the events to Azure Service Bus for external processing. 
* We'll also look at writing a custom Virtual Entity provider so you can surface complex data from data source outside the Power Platform.

The Power Platform for .Net Developers

The new Stream app has arrived along with the Microsoft Stream Migration Tool. Once the migration tool changes its status to General Availability, a retirement date for classic Stream will soon follow. Organizations who utilize the Classic Stream Portal should consider planning their migration to the new Stream on SharePoint experience over the next 12-18 months.

A very common question on every Power Platform deployment is about the monitoring and analytics possibilities available so we can extract usage data, errors, problems, etc from our Power Apps and Power Automate Flows at different levels. In this session we will review the out of the box monitoring and analytic tools available in the platform, the additional features that Microsoft 365 and Azure can add and of course how we can go even forward with a custom monitoring and logging solution.
